Time Is Discrete

When I was at university, I took a course in my final year that was accompanied by a set of lecture notes that began with the sentence 'Time Is Discrete'. Now, I don't think the lecturer intended it, but this, I think, arguably the greatest opening sentence to any body of writing in the English language.

This series is based on the idea that a scene that appears not to change can, actually appear very different when you capture it a discrete points. I chose a scene with very few elements - sky, grass, an empty bench - to make the differences between images the focus. I think this series helps me remember to really look at what's around me and notice how it changes.
